RIVA 68 EGO M/Y KEEP SMILING
A modern icon of Italian excellence.

RIVA 68 EGO SUPER
The Riva 68 Ego stands out in the luxury yacht landscape as a perfect blend of sportiness and timeless elegance.
Designed by the renowned Officina Italiana Design, it features a sleek and aggressive silhouette enhanced by the iconic finishes of the shipyard. Its key element is the rigid transparent hard top, an engineering masterpiece that flows to merge the harmony of the cockpit with the surrounding environment.
On board, the external livability is maximized by generous sunbathing areas both at the bow and stern, ideal for enjoying navigation in total relaxation. The interiors are a tribute to Made in Italy, where precious essences like mahogany or walnut are combined with refined leather and steel details.
The internal configuration offers three elegant cabins with private bathrooms, including a master suite with a raised floor that can guarantee high privacy and comfort. The large hull windows flood the below-deck areas with natural light, giving a constant feeling of continuity with the sea.
In terms of performance, the highly performing hull and the powerful MAN engine push the boat to speeds over 38 knots. The surface propeller transmission ensures reactive handling, fast planing, and excellent hydrodynamic efficiency.
In summary, the 68 Ego represents an icon of nautical design, capable of combining the impetus of an open boat with the sartorial refinement of a large yacht.

THE REFIT PROJECT
Complete Prestigious Refitting – Signed Elica
Acquired by the new owner after a period of inactivity, this boat presented itself as the ideal candidate for an exhaustive integral refitting project, carefully curated by Elica in every detail, aimed at restoring its original splendor while integrating the most modern on-board technologies. The Exteriors
Externally, the bodywork operations saw the complete repainting of the hull in the classic and refined original cream color, enhanced by the bold contrasts in glossy black on the windows and the upper part of the hull. At the same time, all stainless steel elements were disassembled and restored with a chrome-plating and mirror-polishing cycle, while the old deck covering was completely removed to make way for new 12mm solid teak flooring on the cockpit and stern platform. In this area, the custom-made stern door stands out: designed through CAD relief of the hull's dimensions, respecting the original Riva design, the structure was lightened by replacing the glass with a multilayer and polyform core. The interventions on deck are completed with the restoration of all external furniture, repainted in elegant matte white, the complete renewal of the upholstery, and the creation of a bar & galley area equipped with two refrigerators, ice maker, and a custom kitchen unit with induction hob and retractable cover. The Home Automation System
Particular attention was paid to the helm station and on-board technology. The console, also disassembled and repainted, now boasts a finish with the official Riva logo finely silkscreened and houses a modern home automation system managed by a Raymarine 120 Action Pro display, thanks to which it is possible to monitor in real-time the tank levels, the state of the portholes, and the images from the rear camera. The audio-video comfort is guaranteed by a 500W Fusion Hi-Fi system with multi-zone management and smartphone control, extended between interiors, cockpit, and sunbathing areas. The Interiors
The internal environments were the subject of a profound redesign of the layout. The previous division of the stern area into two cabins gave way to a spectacular master cabin with a raised floor, enriched by a storage bed and custom-made side furniture created by master carpenters using CAD, who also carved out a cozy guest cabin with a French single bed to starboard. The dinette was enhanced by a custom-made sofa and a TV system with a 120” screen, integrated by new TVs in each cabin. The entire internal surface was finished with high-quality carpeting and equipped with a state-of-the-art air conditioning system, accompanied by a high-speed Wi-Fi network. The Engines
Finally, the intervention on the technical and propulsion plane was radical: the engine room now houses two new 1550 CV engines paired with ZF 2070 in-line V-Drive inverters, accompanied by a new 2 kW Mase generator. The work was completed with the total renovation of the electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems, guaranteeing the boat maximum reliability and safety standards equal to new.
